I think heel height would be a cool stat to have as well - e.g. with White's, there's an option to have the heels standard or 1/4" higher/lower, etc.

User drag and drop item sorting

I would like to be able to move around the order my items (only footwear in my case) are displayed in when I'm on the user Home/Profile page. I think being able to sort or arrange things by type of leather, color, texture, etc, would be useful. Thank you!

Catch spam accounts and photos earlier

A spam account posted a photo that promoted an outside site instead of boots. Several members reported it before it came down. It would be great if Patina Project caught spam sooner, for example by holding or hiding a new account's posts once it gets a few reports, or by flagging obvious spam links before they go live.

Add Uncle Dan’s Boots, an independent bootmaker in New Brunswick, Canada, run by Daniel Mallais. Daniel requested the listing and can provide photos, model details, and construction and leather information.

Email sign-in link opens app download page on Fairphone 6 running /e/OS

When I select Sign in with email in the Patina Project app, the sign-in email arrives successfully. However, tapping the link opens a browser page with an option to download the app instead of opening the installed app and completing sign-in. This blocks sign-in because I cannot use Google or Facebook sign-in. Environment Device: Fairphone 6 Operating system: Latest /e/OS by Murena Platform: Android-based

Gallun has enough leathers out there, and several brands have used them, seems like they could be added as a tannery.

Photos on profile fail to load after update

Some photos on the user profile are not viewable after the recent update. The update appears to have broken photo display on the profile page, preventing previously visible images from loading.

Uploaded photo shows red and green blocks

I uploaded a photo of my Coronado No. 69 Union Jacket, and it shows red and green blocks over the image. The photo looks normal on my phone. What happened I added a photo to the jacket in my collection. It was the 6th photo. The upload finished without an error. When I view the photo in the app, parts of it are covered in large red and green squares. What I expected The photo looks the same in Patina Project as it does on my phone. More details The other photos I uploaded to the same item look fine. One of them shows the same jacket, boots, and box. The photo was a HEIC from my iPhone, and I edited it before uploading.

Sizing won't save when registering a pair

When I register a pair, I get stuck on the sizing step. Tapping Submit Sizing does nothing, so I can't move on.

Could not restore purchase on my new phone.

I signed into the app after setting up my phone but was not able to restore my purchase for premium. I had to pay for another premium membership fee to get the features to work properly.

Restore Purchases not working

I am still subscribed. When I choose restore purchases it says it restored successfully. I then get a screen that says “Thank You for supporting us. Extra features unlocked.” When I go to a photo and choose “Set Photo as Cover” it immediately prompts me to join like it doesn’t recognize my membership at all. From that page I choose “Restore Purchases”. That’s when I get the action was successful followed by the Thank You page. It still will not allow me to choose a new photo cover. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, but I get the same results.

Submit multiple photos at once

The app only allows me to select one photo at a time (Android). It would be nice to have several related photos in one post.

Swap or unregister a Thunderdome pair

If I register the wrong pair, I should be able to remove it myself. Right now I have to contact support. The pair page or the contest page should have an unregister option that asks me to confirm. It should work until the contest's first submission window closes. My pair and its photos stay on my profile.

Add basic leathers outside of tannery

This is very similar to a request below. For example, 'tan calf', 'chocolate suede' 'black pin grain'--many makers don't make the source of their house leathers known so just complaining a large list of colloquial names (perhaps through SDP) of leathers might make it easier to classify our footwear.

Click pic to open gallery, description to open spec

Right now clicking on the image doesn’t do anything whereas clicking the description takes you to the gallery. This is a bit unintuitive. I would expect clicking on the image takes you to the gallery and clicking on the description takes you to the spec.

Search & filter within collections

Bring the complete search and filter experience to within the Thunderdome or someone's collection. Currently, the filter experience differs between the entirety of Patina Project vs. searching within the Thunderdome or someone's collection. Searching and filtering should be consistent across the app to keep things simple.

"Also known as" for leathers

Some leathers are known by more than one name. This often occurs when makers rename the leathers used for their boots. Adding "Also known as " under renamed leathers will make it easier to find boots with the same leather.
