Additional info: These are coming together after years in the sewing seat and a little child raising hiatus. After a summer back in the seat, what an honor it is to take part in crafting something truly unique in the world of boots! Wesco is more than just a brand stamped some leather. There is a family at the center who have made these shoes and their creation their life’s work 4 generations! Some of you may know our main man Chris, with over 20 years under his belt, making sure the factory can meet the growing demand and shifting market that boots now wade in. His dedication and work ethic are astounding! A general who doesn’t have to shout orders because he’s down in the trenches with us. Seriously get a camera on that guy, never not entertained. (Side note, his son Axl already crushing it so watch out!) That said, the craftsmanship through every step demands careful yet swift hands while 1000’s of boots of an incredibly diverse variety matriculate through. The sheer amount of potential make-up combinations is practically limitless, with something new rolling down the line on a daily basis. So for the next 6 months we shall dome together while I do my part in slicing some of these “lead times” I’ve heard grumbles about. Quality takes time and if it was easy, everyone would be doing it. Regardless may we all succeed in having a pair of boots that serve their utility to the fullest. Perhaps they’ll look cool in the process 🤔
