New
I'm a bit late sharing this update since these features have been live for a few months now, but hey—better late than never! 😄
I'm thrilled to announce limited-time rewards for our early contributors as we continue to roll out support for more apparel categories to support denim, leather jackets, wallets, and any other clothing you'd like to document and showcase.
**Try out the new Patina Project support for denim, leather jackets, and accessories by **downloading the app.
When creating an item, you can select from the Clothing and Accessories categories.

For jackets or wallets, choose Leather, or choose the new Fabric spec to track denim or other fade-worthy fabrics!

With Clothing selected, you'll unlock the new Tag Size and Measurements specs—perfect for logging detailed measurements of your jackets or trousers.

Plus, you can record multiple measurements over time to keep track of shrinkage or stretch.

Please note, building our database of denim makers, models, and fabrics is an ongoing process that will take time. Thanks for being an early adopter and sticking with us!
To celebrate our earliest contributors of denim, leather jackets, and accessories, we’ve introduced a couple of limited-edition badges just for you! Get yours while they last!
Add all of your denim, leather jackets, and accessories before January 1, 2026 to start earning these exclusive badges for each of your items:

Heads up! If you've previously added non-footwear items, don't forget to update their specs. This way, they’ll be eligible for our new badges!
With the launch of more apparel categories, we get it—some of you might want to keep things focused on footwear. Your For Me channel lets you personalize your feed to match your specific interests:

The Scholar and Aging badges are here! These badges highlight items with in-depth information and regular photo updates. To earn gold, provide as much information as possible about your items and share monthly updates showcasing their aging journey.

New features can be tricky! Share your thoughts in our Patina Project Discord and help us make the app even better. Your input helps shape Patina Project into the ultimate companion for your footwear and leather journey.
