Photos taken during the previous month that are submitted during a submission window in the following month can cause the item profile’s timeline to appear out of order. We are currently working on a fix. -Ted

Rearrange photo order on an item's profile page
It would be great to rearrange the order of photos within each entry on a boot's profile page. Right now there isn’t a way to do this. This would make it easy to keep the same angles consistent across different entries, so you can compare how a boot looks over time at a glance.

Problem logging on
I’ve used the app for a long time on my iphone. A couple of days I found I was logged out and have not been able to get back in. I try to log in through my google account like I just did here but then it defaults me back to the “create a new profile” page. I click the link saying I have an account and it takes me to log in, I hit log in with google, and it takes me back to the create a new profile page. I’ve tried it numerous times over the past few days and keep having the same issue. Anything that can be done about it?

Official community guidelines
Right now there's no clear set of community guidelines on Patina Project. This leads to confusion about what's allowed and what isn't, especially since some folks mix up rules from other platforms with ours. It would be great to have a dedicated, easy-to-find page that spells out: What kind of content is and isn't allowed How moderation works This would help set expectations for everyone and give mods something concrete to point to. Keeps things fair and transparent.

Swipe-Through Gallery for Search Results
When viewing search results, let users click into a product photo and swipe left/right to browse the next result. Right now you have to go back to the results page each time. A simple gallery navigation would save a lot of clicks. Source: reddit.com/r/PNWbootmakers

Sometimes you want to share something with the community, such as a new release, boot world news, something you saw online, but there's no place for it. The only option today is adding a photo to an item album, even when the post has nothing to do with that item. Should we add a way to start discussions that aren't tied to a specific item profile? Would you use this?

Maker "Dr Sole" Profile is Inaccurate
I just read through the whole Dr Sole Maker profile and the whole backstory of the company seems inaccurate. For what they do, some of it is correct, like referencing their Game Changer boot. But they have since launched their own brand called Pioneer. So unsure if this whole Maker should just be changed to "Pioneer" or "Dr Sole / Pioneer". They are from Taiwan, manufacturing their incredible rubber soles in southern China. Hey Ted, I like the idea of best of, but I think this idea would be better served by doing the top 25 post for the work dome and the top 25 post for the open dome. I have no idea of my boots would even fall within that. I don’t care but as somebody that’s just scrolling through it, there’s gotta be 300 photos on there which is just overwhelming. Just my two cents I love what you’re doing. This isn’t a negative thing just my opinion.

For ease of use to new and novice boot hobbyists and shoppers looking for boots in a general color, add a simplified search term (e.g., “Black (all)”, “Burgundy (all)”, “Green (all),” etc.) to the top of the search page for colors.

Cannot submit size or Thunderdome official photos
Running iOS 18.6.2 on iPhone Xs and app is up to date. Cannot submit size (10.5E) nor my initial Thunderdome photos, because app locks up when attempting to choose photo angle to share to feed (or “don’t share to feed”). All other photos are able to load just not able to submit due to “share to feed” prompt.
